What to Expect:
Most people want to have some kind of idea what a church is like before they'll consider visiting it. Here is some information to help you decide if we are what you are looking for.
We are a mid-sized growing church of 400-500 people who come from a variety of backgrounds and experiences. We are going to be up front and tell you that we are not a perfect church. In fact, we hope we don't ever make someone think that we've got it all together at Westlake because WE DON'T! However, what we are is a loving church who tries very hard to be real and authentic with each other. You will find some people here at Westlake who are on the mountain tops of life and others who are desperate and hurting. Somehow, someway, God uses all of us to help each other.
You can choose between two services 9:00 and 10:45 a.m. (both are the same style and format) with Children's classes offered as well. Our worship is passionate and our message is relevant for your life. We have a full band with a cutting edge sound, colorful lights, and a freedom to worship. No one is going to come up to you during the service and ask you to introduce yourself or embarrass you in any way. You may however find that some people will introduce themselves and say hello. You will not be pressured, gimmicked, misled, or asked to give any money. We simply want your experience with us to be a relaxed and enjoyable time.
